How do you deal with Uncertainty?

Hello everybody,

It's Antonio, CEO at Litlyx.

Today, I want to share some thoughts about the mental issues we all suffer from right now or have suffered from in the past.

When you try to build your business, many times you need to deal with uncertainty and don't have anything to rely on. You need to stay strong, but you start to feel alone.

After a while in this situation, with the stress rising, some pimples or red spots may appear on your skin.

This can be an incipit of a mental breakdown.

Being aware of your limits regarding stress is essential, but nobody will teach you that unless you learn it yourself through a mental breakdown.

I wanted to ask you all...

How do you guys deal with uncertainty?

Uncertainty is a constant companion in the entrepreneurial journey. It's refreshing to see someone openly discuss the mental challenges of running a business. I believe sharing experiences can be incredibly helpful.

I cope with uncertainty by focusing on what I can control, setting realistic goals, and seeking support from my network. It's also crucial to take breaks and practice self-care.

Let's share strategies and support each other!

It's amazing that your network support you. I think everybody need a "Support System" on the Emotional side.

I love to talk openly about this issues because they are real, and can be problematic at some point of your career.

Thanks to share with us Emma.

I know it's not often brought up here, but I believe when you're faced with uncertainty then its high time you take a pause to gather yourself. Even better if you have a mentor to share your thoughts with. Feeling alone can be detrimental in this line of work.

Yes i agree. In social everybody talk about their success, but a lot of people are struggling right now, even tho, they continue to push. But they need to recognize the syntomps. If not it will be too late in the future. Thanks for reaching out Martin!

Aren't business simulations typically used for this purpose?

Business simulations are model simulations of business processes that are used as a teaching and learning method to train management and leadership skills. They simulate realistic business processes and situations. The aim is to make complex interrelationships tangible and to promote entrepreneurial thinking and action. Some business simulations are IT-supported or web-based. The basics are often taught in general management programs and MBA courses.
Business simulations thus offer a practical, interactive opportunity to understand business contexts and develop management skills without taking real financial risks.

For me, it is important to rationalize the decisions.

This is an intresting idea. Probably this realities exists in more business developed countries. But the world is big and not all of us have this opportunities in their countries.

Is important to share not only Successes of a business... because the reality is that behind their successes there are infinite amount of struggling on the mental side.

Every entreprenur know that is part of the game and everybody experience this.

Thanks for sharing this intresting idea.

You need to stay strong, but you start to feel alone.

Yes i need to stay strong but i feel alone. Also, i feel alone and this feeling makes me strong. Because i feel alone and there is not anyone that can help me more than myself. If i keep feel alone and depressed nothing will be solved and there will not be any progress.

Stress is painful ok. But i need to solve problems in order to keep on what i am doing and the stress is the essential point of progress. I think there will be no progress if there is no stress.

I think you are right in some point... but please... be aware that mental health is very important. To grow a strong mind you don't need to destroy yourself. Just small steps each day will compound in the future. Keep always your mental health on point. If you are tired, learn to rest, detach a little bit, than come back stronger.
Love from italy. Keep Strong!

Sure. Stress is good thing unless it harms you. You should not feel guilty when you are not working. It is not the stress that i mentioned. You need to rest, socialize, enjoy without any guilt like you need to work as well.
