Hale-Zyklus
Als Hale-Zyklus bezeichnet man den 22,1-jährigen Zyklus der Sonnenaktivität. Er setzt sich aus zwei 11-jährigen Phasen gegensätzlicher magnetischer Polarität zusammen, wie George Ellery Hale 1908 spektroskopisch nachwies.
