Comparative sources
[edit]Hello PANNONIAN, the subject on that map is highly disputed between Ossetian and Georgian nationalists. Because most of the Tual villages in the sparsely populated upper mountains were formally incorporated into Georgian kingdoms and principalities, there are discussions between the standpoints of "historical Georgia" and "historical Ossetian lands". So I added some comparative sources, esp. Tsutsiev/Cuciev is a non-ideological historian, I remember. But we should add, that the region eastwards of Ossetia at the upper Terek river was not populated by Ossetians after 18th century. From that time until today there is a large Georgian majority of inhabitants.--WajWohu (talk) 15:42, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
