Deutsch: Die Farben Silber und Blau im Schildfuß entstammen dem Wappen der Herren von Breitenstein, die seit dem 14. Jahrhundert in Hetzles ansässig waren. Der Bischofsstab erinnert an den Bamberger Erzbischof Michael von Deinlein (1800 bis 1875), der in Hetzles geboren ist. Die Kirschen weisen auf den für die Umgebung wichtigen Kirschenanbau hin. Das Ammonshorn stellt die Lage des Ortes im nördlichen Jura dar und bezieht sich auf die vielen Ammonitenfunde in dieser Gegend. |
