Description
English: Lake Barrine is a volcanic lake on the Atherton Tableland in North Queensland. It formed around 17,000 years ago when water flooded a crater and is the oldest of the volcanic lakes in the area. It receives water only from rainfall. There are walking tracks around the lake and a kiosk and tea-house, Boat trips are popular.
