Description
English: Animated diagram of Juusyoku Record.

The Juusyoku Record (重色レコード) is a sound media invented by Yoshiro Nakamatsu in early 1950s.

Several lines of red and green variable-area sound tracks are printed on a white paper. While an electric bulb with red or green filter lights up the track, a moving optical pickup read the visible track and play sound.
