English: Thomas Taylor Hammond (also known as Thomas T. Hammond (1920—1993), was a professor of history at the University of Virginia (UVa) from 1949 to 1991 and founder of UVa’s Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (CREEES). As a skillful photographer, he compiled a massive collection of photo slides from his travels throughout the USSR and Eastern Europe during the period of the Cold War. See more in the [1] and [2]
