English: The firm Cox & Buckley was founded in 1881 when Michael J. C. Buckley became a partner of Cox & Son in London. The firm manufactured stained glass and other ecclesiastical art. When the firm failed, Michael J. C. Buckley moved to Youghal where he continued to work with stained glass. Short before the death of Michael J. C. Buckley in 1905, probably in 1903 or 1904, the company was taken over by James Watson & Co. in Youghal. See following entries in the Dictionary of Irish Architects: Cox & Buckley, Buckley, Michael Joseph Cunningham.
