Description
English: Anthias anthias, depicted by Marcus Elieser Bloch (he named it Anthias sacer). Table 315 of Allgemeine Naturgeschichte der Fische. The copper engraving was financed by Sigmund Zois from Laibach (now Ljubljana): "»Gestochen auf Kosten von B. S. Z. in Laibach«" The shown engraving is now kept by the Slovene Academy of Sciences and Arts.
