Abstract:
Agricultural decision analysis can be classified as either normative or positive. In normative decision analysis the researcher is involved in helping the farmer make decisions which are consistent with the farmer's own objectives. In positive decision analysis the researcher's objective is to describe and explain particular decisions by a particular set of farmers.
