James Roumasset

No 283663, 1977 AAEA-WAEA Joint Meeting, July 31-August 3, San Diego, California from American Agricultural Economics Association (New Name 2008: Agricultural and Applied Economics Association)

Abstract: Agricultural decision analysis can be classified as either normative or positive. In normative decision analysis the researcher is involved in helping the farmer make decisions which are consistent with the farmer's own objectives. In positive decision analysis the researcher's objective is to describe and explain particular decisions by a particular set of farmers.
