Abstract:
This article provides an analysis of the factors that influence the employee’s possibilities perceived to trigger actions of meaningful participation in three levels: Intra-group Level, Institutional Level and directly in the Leadership team of the organization.Twelve (12) interviews were done with teachers from the Social and Economic Sciences School of the Mar del Plata (Argentina) University, with different positions, areas and working hours.Based on qualitative evidence, an empirical model was constructed claiming to connect different factors for each manifest of participation, establishing hypothetical relations between subgroups.Additionally, in this article the implication of participation, its relationship with the job satisfaction and the role of individual expectations on the participation opportunities that receives each employee, are discussed.
