Regional partnerships
Regional collaboration: Within Brainport there is an ambition to create lifelong learning programs in collaboration with industry and all education partners (Brainport Development, 2018). More specifically the partners aim to aligning and jointly opening up courses that fits in terms of content and form to the demand of the professional field with which the sustainable employability of employees can be strengthened.

In the alliance with Utrecht University and Wageningen University. Within the alliance, there is a unique opportunity to propel the contribution of higher education to the development of lifelong learning. The aim is to realize a good lifelong learning offer for learners related to societal challenges, adapted to market needs and demands, while maintaining high academic standards.

International collaboration with Eurotech. With the EuroTeQ university we aim to map the engineering professional, develop materials and to build an international community for lifelong learners.

National Pilot Microcredentials
The TU/e is one of 32 higher education institutes currently participating in the pilot Microcredentials. The pilot focuses on the institutes’ LifeLong Learning offer. Microcredentialing means that education offered to professionals is broken down into smaller units (3-30EC), and certified separately with a digital credential called ‘microcredential’. By doing so, the pilot stimulates flexibility in education and offers a recognizable value to the institutes’ LifeLong Learning offering.

(Technological) developments in society need continuous education of personnel. Would you like to keep up with these changes and develop your individual qualities based on personal interests? TU/e offers many different lifelong learning programs to accommodate lifelong learning needs. Currently, we are further developing a professional learning program. We do already offer programs (together with partners) in the areas of health, logistics, data analytics, management and innovation.
