calling for an easy game has no history in football. They will be defending Bobby Bowden’s record over Dabo and trying to make their whole season in a win over us. Think about the Death Advantage, they have one also at their place. It an easy place to play.

They are historically bad. I'm sure there will be some resistance early on but it will take a catastrophic meltdown for us to lose, let alone the game being within two scores.

I have watched most of their games. The problem is they have talent and if they get on the same page they will be a tough out. They have a D lineman that may be the best in the nation. Douglas for them is their go to receiver and is as good as anyone. DJ is always going his way as the go to guy. They have an excellent RB. The best field goal kicker in the nation. He made a 59 yarder. Their crowd snd stadium is as tough of a place to play if they are together as any where. We hope they will continue to be discombobulated but if they get it together look out.

If they haven't gotten it together by game 5, it is highly unlikely that they will by game 6.
Anything can happen in sports, absolutely. But it would require the absolute perfect storm to occur, which is statistically very, very unlikely.

Their QB situation practically makes everything else you just said irrelevant. We should not, and won’t, take them for granted, but we should comfortably cover the spread as long as we don’t hurt ourselves.

Historically for many years under Bobby Bowden they owned the ACC. Jimbo like Bobby won a National Title. Where is the historically bad? You must have just come on the scene.

2024 FSU is not really a team as much as they are a collection of pay for play individuals who are showcasing their talent for their next foray into the portal for more money (or a pay cut in the NFL)

a good team. They will probably give the best effort they have given since their very first game in an FSU uniform. That being said, we should still win the game handily, as long as we play to OUR standards.

Well FSU could try but they won’t. FSU players abandoned the program months ago.
We would have to show up uninterested and u prepared to play.

The team hasn't forgotten that FSU "won the football game the last time they played"! Sorry, you can't take that away from Clemson either. As much as you may think FSU is on the mat and dangerous b/c they are wounded; from a player standpoint: "this team beat us last time" is all that will be on their collective minds. And, it's on the road, which is even better in my opinion in terms of "not taking the opponent for granted"! How, when the majority of the stadium want to see you lose.
I don't think motivation will be an issue "in the least"!
Plus, the DJU thing. You always want to beat your brother at everything. Pick-up basketball, spades, whatever! Cade will be motivated to play well in front of someone that had him riding the pine most of his 1st year! I'm telling you - something else might happen - but taking FSU lightly won't be one of them.

Probably half the guys on the team don't even know the field is named for him. Heck, they probably have no idea who he is.
Gone are the days when kids went to school because their daddy's and granddaddy's told them storied from the glorious past. (And, yes, the 1980s and 1990s is the glorious past to today's players.)

The backup is not good. Ugly either way. It's a maturing team of recruits who want to be at Clemson against a bunch of one year transfers who will in all likelihood pack it in soon enough.

If Clemson plays their “A” game I see them winning by a couple of TD’s if play less than that it will be a dog fight. Clemson is also motivated by the Dabo record and the fact that FSU held on every freaking play last year and that’s what won FSU game.

I feel we're a 20+ pt better team, but it wouldn't surprise me a bit if its a 1 possession game going into the 4th qtr. And we all know its a game they're going to put more effort in then they have all year.
