Would be nice. Hopefully Dabo can pull a rabbit out of his hat as he often does. We had no QB's in the 24 class and right now none in the 25. I can hear the portal talks now.

We probably should not have committed not to recruit anyone else if he signed, particularly when you sign him 2 years out. That is a long time to be able to hold a commitment in this day and age of recruitment and NIL.

Please forgive my ignorance on this issue, but do we know for sure such a promise was made to him? If so, I’m pretty disappointed in both our coaches and the player, and hopefully we learned a hard lesson. Don’t trust anyone in this cutthroat age of NIL.

His lack of playing his junior year and his initial senior results makes me feel good that he’s going to ND

I wouldn't put anything out of Dabo's reach. If the young man is of high quality as a player and as a person, he couldn't do better than Clemson under Dabo as Head Coach.

People are waving money signs over the Hebert recommit. I don’t buy that. Do what are some reasons why the kid did a flop!
1 - saw that Cade’s returning for another season.
2 - saw that Vizzina is bigger, stronger, and older and will have been in the system two years.
3 - saw competition in 2026 class.
4 - grew up a ND fan and had the opp.
OR
5 - sometimes the staff ‘allows’ a kid to decommit - maybe their interests changed for some reason and it’s easier to let the kid walk than to pull the offer.
6 - he just has a crappy attitude.
7 - mom.
8 - dad.
9 - girlfriend.
10 - grades.
It could be anything. Teenagers are immature and fickle. C’est la vie.

Bryce is a high character kid with a tremendous work ethic. I believe he camped at Clemson but was never offered.

like many others thought Cade would be gone by the time he got here. That won’t be the case. Add in CV will have 3 years in the system with 2 to play and is getting enough PT to make it a big obstacle for a FR or even a RS FR to overtake. Add in Riley Leonard departure at ND and looks like a better opportunity to win a job on the surface.
