     Lt.-Col. William James Scarlett was born on 19 October 1839.1 He was the son of James William Scarlett and Anne Rhodes Williams Brown.2,1 He married Henrietta Catherine Low, daughter of John Low, on 27 January 1868.2,1 He died on 31 July 1888 at age 48.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Dragoon Guards.1 He lived at Gigha, Argyllshire, ScotlandG.

Reverend Sir George Croxton Shiffner, 4th Bt.

     Reverend Sir George Croxton Shiffner, 4th Bt. was born on 21 August 1819.1 He was the son of Sir George Shiffner, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Johnson.2 He married Elizabeth Greenall, daughter of John Greenall, on 26 October 1854.1 He died on 3 January 1906 at age 86.
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Rector at Hamsey, Sussex, England.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Shiffner, of Coombe, Sussex [U.K., 1818] on 14 December 1863.1 He held the office of Rural Dean of Lewes in 1867.1

     Major Anthony George Pelham was born on 4 September 1911.1 He was the son of Hon. Henry George Godolphin Pelham and Agnes Lee Ollerhead.1,2 He married Ann Margaret Bergengren, daughter of Axel Bergengren, on 19 September 1938.1 He died on 10 March 1969 at age 57.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from King's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1933 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was with the Sudan Political Service.1 He graduated from King's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1938 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1

     Ann Margaret Bergengren was the daughter of Axel Bergengren.2 She married Major Anthony George Pelham, son of Hon. Henry George Godolphin Pelham and Agnes Lee Ollerhead, on 19 September 1938.1 She died in 1990.1

     Sir Ralph Edgar Perring, 1st Bt. was born on 23 March 1905.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir John Ernest Perring and Florence Higginson.2 He married Ethel Mary Johnson, daughter of Henry Theophilus Johnson, on 20 June 1928.1 He died on 28 June 1998 at age 93.1
