     He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was Rector in 1778 at Bladon, Oxfordshire, England.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He held the office of Prebendary of Canterbury between April 1786 and 1795.1 He held the office of Chancellor of Lincoln in 1795.1
