     Lt.-Cdr. Raymond George Francis Herault de Caen was the son of John Herault de Caen.1 He married Gladys Irene Constance Camilla Vivian, daughter of Hon. Charles Hussey Panton Vivian and Irene Maud Shelah Farrer, on 27 June 1919.1 He died on 12 April 1922.1
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1
