Sir William Jerningham, 6th Bt.1

     Sir William Jerningham, 6th Bt. was born on 7 March 1736.2 He was the son of Sir George Jerningham, 5th Bt. and Marie Françoise Plowden.2 He married Hon. Frances Dillon, daughter of Henry Dillon, 11th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin and Lady Charlotte Lee, on 16 June 1767.1 He died on 14 August 1809 at age 73.2
     He succeeded as the 7th Baron Stafford, of co. Stafford [E., 1640] on 26 April 1765, de jure.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Jerningham [E., 1621] on 21 January 1774.

     Hon. Edward Stafford-Jerningham was born on 4 August 1804.1 He was the son of George William Stafford Jerningham, 8th Baron Stafford and Frances Henrietta Sulyarde.1 He married Marianne Smythe, daughter of John Smythe, on 16 June 1828.1 He died on 22 July 1849 at age 44.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 6th Dragoon Guards.1

Dorothy Hilda Worthington

     Dorothy Hilda Worthington was the daughter of Albert Octavius Worthington and Sarah Elizabeth Etty. She married Francis Edward Fitzherbert-Stafford, 12th Baron Stafford, son of Basil Thomas Fitzherbert and Emily Charlotte Stafford-Jerningham, on 20 April 1903.2 She died on 15 December 1958.2
     Her married name became Fitzherbert. After her marriage, Dorothy Hilda Worthington was styled as Baroness Stafford on 12 June 1913.

Augustus Frederick FitzHerbert Stafford-Jerningham, 10th Baron Stafford

     Augustus Frederick FitzHerbert Stafford-Jerningham, 10th Baron Stafford was born on 28 June 1830.1 He was the son of Hon. Edward Stafford-Jerningham and Marianne Smythe.1 He died on 12 February 1892 at age 61 at West BrightonG, unmarried.1
     On 19 February 1862 he was declared insane.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baron Stafford, of co. Stafford [E., 1640] on 30 November 1884.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Jerningham [E., 1621] on 30 November 1884.

     Emily Charlotte Stafford-Jerningham was born on 31 March 1835.1 She was the daughter of Hon. Edward Stafford-Jerningham and Marianne Smythe.1 She married Basil Thomas Fitzherbert, son of Francis Fitzherbert and Maria Teresa Gandolfi, on 13 October 1858.1 She died on 9 November 1881 at age 46.1
     Her married name became Fitzherbert.

Sir John Smythe, 3rd Bt.1

     Sir John Smythe, 3rd Bt. married Constantia Blount, daughter of George Blount and Constantia Cary, in 1719.1 He died on 17 September 1737.1
     He gained the title of 3rd Baronet Smythe, of Acton Burnell, co. Shropshire.

     William Charles Jerningham was born on 13 October 1772.2 He was the son of Sir William Jerningham, 6th Bt. and Hon. Frances Dillon.2 He married, firstly, Anne Wright, daughter of Thomas Wright, on 5 October 1803.2 He married, secondly, Anne Moore, daughter of Edward Moore, in August 1816.2 He died on 1 October 1820 at age 47.2
     He gained the rank of Officer in the Austrian service.2
