     Sir Edward Payson Wills, 1st Bt. was born on 12 June 1834.1 He was the son of Henry Overton Wills and Isabella Board.2 He married Mary Ann Pearce, daughter of Joseph Chaning Pearce and Amelia Stancomb, on 2 September 1858.1 He died on 13 March 1910 at age 75.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.1 He was director of Imperial Tobacco Company.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He was created 1st Baronet Wills, of Hazelwood, Stoke-Bishop, Bristol [U.K.] on 19 August 1904.1 He lived at Hazelwood, Stoke Bishop, Gloucestershire, England.1 He lived at Clapton in Gordano, Somerset, England.1

     Mary Ann Pearce was the daughter of Joseph Chaning Pearce and Amelia Stancomb.1 She married Sir Edward Payson Wills, 1st Bt., son of Henry Overton Wills and Isabella Board, on 2 September 1858.1 She died on 25 January 1891.1
     Her married name became Wills.

     John James Dudley Stuart Townshend, 6th Marquess Townshend of Raynham was born on 17 October 1866.1 He was the son of John Villiers Stuart Townshend, 5th Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Lady Anne Elizabeth Clementina Duff.1 He married Gwladys Ethel Gwendolen Eugenie Sutherst, daughter of Thomas Sutherst, on 9 August 1905.1 He died on 17 November 1921 at age 55.1
     He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Townshend, of Rainham, co. Norfolk [E., 1617] on 26 October 1899.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baron Townshend of Lynn Regis, co. Norfolk [E., 1682] on 26 October 1899.1 He succeeded as the 6th Marquess Townshend of Raynham, co. Norfolk [G.B., 1787] on 26 October 1899.1 He succeeded as the 9th Viscount Townshend of Raynham, co. Norfolk [E., 1682] on 26 October 1899.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk.1

     Gwladys Ethel Gwendolen Eugenie Sutherst was born in 1882 at St. Pancras, London, England.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Sutherst.1 She married, firstly, John James Dudley Stuart Townshend, 6th Marquess Townshend of Raynham, son of John Villiers Stuart Townshend, 5th Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Lady Anne Elizabeth Clementina Duff, on 9 August 1905.1 She married, secondly, Bernard le Strange, son of Captain Roland le Strange, on 19 October 1946.1 She died on 10 October 1959.1
     After her marriage, Gwladys Ethel Gwendolen Eugenie Sutherst was styled as Marchioness Townshend of Raynham on 9 August 1905. From 9 August 1905, her married name became Townshend. She held the office of Mayor of King's Lynn in 1928.1 Her married name became le Stange.
