     Marmaduke William Joseph Stourton was born on 14 January 1840.1 He was the son of Hon. William Joseph Stourton and Catherine Alicia Scully.1 He married Mary Franks, daughter of William Franks, on 7 January 1870.1 He died on 18 April 1879 at age 39 at Natal, South AfricaG.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 63rd Regiment.1

     Mary Franks was born before 1854. She was the daughter of William Franks. She married Marmaduke William Joseph Stourton, son of Hon. William Joseph Stourton and Catherine Alicia Scully, on 7 January 1870.1 She died on 12 December 1876.
     Her married name became Stourton.
