George Whitmore1

     George Whitmore was the son of Lt.-Gen. William Whitmore.2 He married Mary Wall, daughter of John Wall and Catherine Sandys, on 8 March 1774.1 He died on 19 November 1794 at Amiens, France, as a prisoner and victim of the French Revolution.1
     He lived at Lower Slaughter, Gloucestershire, England.1
