     Isaac Denning was born in 1771 at Kilmersdon, Somerset, England.1 He was the son of Isaac Denning and Sarah Mercer.1 He married, firstly, Hesther Treasure in 1795.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Brown on 5 October 1818 at Trickinopoly, Madras, India.3 He died in 1847 at Coleford, Somerset, England.1
     He fought in the Peninsular Wars.3 He gained the rank of officer in the 53rd Shropshire Regiment of Foot.3

     Hon. William Nicholas Ridley-Colborne was born on 24 July 1814.1 He was the son of Nicholas William Ridley-Colborne, 1st and last Baron Colborne of West Harling and Charlotte Steele.1 He died on 23 March 1846 at age 31, unmarried.1
     He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Richmond between 1841 and 1846.1

     Sophia Albertina Summer was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Charles Richard Sumner and Jennie Fannie Barnabine Maunoir.1 She married Reverend William Henry Ridley, son of Reverend Henry Colborne Ridley and Mary Farrer, on 25 August 1841.1 She died in 1884.1

     Rear-Admiral William Terence Colborne Ridley was born on 9 March 1915.1 He was the son of Captain William Henry Wake Ridley and Vera Constance Walker.1 He married, firstly, Barbara Allen, daughter of Robert Lee Allen, on 20 August 1938.1 He married, secondly, Joan Elaine Dowding in 1993.1 He died on 25 December 2001 at age 86.1
     Rear-Admiral William Terence Colborne Ridley usually went by his middle name of Terence.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1954.1 He was Admiral Superintendent, HM Dockyard Rosyth in 1966.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1968.1
