     Hon. Mary Catharine Roper is the daughter of Henry Roper, 10th Baron Teynham and Catherine Powell.1 She married Thomas Mostyn, son of Sir George Mostyn, 4th Bt. and Theresa Towneley, in 1773.1
     From 1773, her married name became Mostyn.1

     Herbert Albert Laurens Fisher was born on 21 March 1865.1 He was the son of Herbert William Fisher and Mary Louisa Jackson.1 He married Lettice Ilbert in 1899.1 He died on 18 April 1940 at age 75 at St. Thomas's Hospital, London, England, after being knocked down by a lorry the week before.1
     He was a tutor in Modern History at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He wrote the book Bonapartism, published 1908.1 He wrote the book The Republican Tradition in Europe, published 1911.1 He was member of the Royal Commission on the Public Services in India between 1912 and 1915.1 He wrote the book Napoleon, published 1913.1 He held the office of Vice-Chancellorf of the University of Sheffield between 1913 and 1917.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in December 1916.1 He held the office of President of the Board of Education in December 1916.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sheffield Hallam between December 1916 and 1918.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the Combined English Universities between 1918 and 1926.1 He wrote the book James Bryce, Viscount Bryce of Dechmont, O.M.1 He was awarded the James Tait Black Memorial Prize in 1927.1 He wrote the book History of Europe, published 1935.1 He was awarded the Order of Merit (O.M.) in 1937.1 He was Chairman of the Appellate Tribunal for Conscientious Objectors in England and Wales in 1939.1 In 1943 his underwear was used to dress the corpse used in Operation Mincemeat.1

     He fought in the Boer War.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Artillery.1
