     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)1

William Wright Warde-Aldam1

     William Wright Warde-Aldam was born in 1853.1 He was the son of William Aldam and Mary Stables Wright.1 He married Sarah Julia Warde, daughter of Reverend William Warde and Marianne Smithson, on 30 April 1878.1 He died in 1925.1
     He was given the name of William Wright Aldam at birth.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire between 1878 and 1879.1 On 23 April 1878 his name was legally changed to William Wright Warde-Aldam by Royal Licence.1
