Sir Charles Wake, 10th Bt.1

     Sir Charles Wake, 10th Bt. was born on 21 November 1791.2 He was the son of Sir William Wake, 9th Bt. and Mary Sitwell.2 He married, firstly, Mary Alice Sitwell, daughter of Sir Sitwell Sitwell, 1st Bt. and Alice Parke, on 23 August 1815.2 He married, secondly, Charlotte Tait, daughter of Craufurd Tait, on 1 June 1822. He died on 23 February 1864 at age 72.2
     He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Wake, of Clevedon, Somerset and Piddington, co. Northampton [E., 1621] on 27 January 1846.2

     Herwald Craufurd Wake was born on 10 March 1829.1 He is the son of Sir Charles Wake, 10th Bt. and Charlotte Tait.2 He married Charlotte Lucy Hurt Sitwell, daughter of Sir George Sitwell, 2nd Bt. and Susan Murray Tait, on 18 August 1860.1 He died on 9 December 1901 at age 72.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)2 He was in the Bengal Civil Service.1

     Arthur Bernard was born in 1666.1 He was the son of Francis Bernard and Mary Freke.1 He married Anne Power, daughter of Roger Power, on 22 December 1695 at Lismore Castle, County Waterford, Ireland.1 He died circa 12 December 1735.1 He was buried on 15 December 1735 at Ballymodan, County Cork, Ireland.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bandon from 1713 to 1714.2 In 1714 he built Palace Anne.1 He lived at Palace Anne, Kinneigh, County Cork, Ireland.1
