He married, secondly, Mary Johanna Jean Cox, daughter of Lt.-Col. Ralph George Snead Cox and Edith Colville, on 11 April 1950.2 He died on 26 December 1995 at age 88.1

     He gained the rank of Captain in the London Regiment.1
