     Sir John Hall of Dunglass, 1st Bt. is the son of John Hall of Dunglass and Janet Higgins.2 He married, firstly, Catherine Loch, daughter of James Loch of Drylaw and Isobel Cunninghame McMath.1 He married Margaret Fleming, daughter of George Fleming of Kilconquhar, on 18 October 1695.1
     He was created 1st Baronet Hall, of Dunglass [Nova Scotia] on 8 October 1687.1

     Captain Granville Gower Loch was born in 1813.2 He was the son of James Loch and Ann Orr.1 He died in 1853 at Burma, killed in action.2

     Her married name became Mein.1 Her married name became Hall.

Anne Hume was born on 4 November 1677.1 She was the daughter of Patrick Hume, 1st Earl of Marchmont and Grizel Ker.2 She married Sir James Hall of Dunglass, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Hall of Dunglass, 1st Bt. and Catherine Loch, in 1698.1 She died on 24 January 1699 at age 21, without issue.1
     From 1698, her married name became Hall.1
