     Major John Samuel Byard White is the son of Colonel Harold Samuel White.1 He married Mary Bridget Gibbs, daughter of Captain George Louis Downall Gibbs and Susan Fayth Harding-Newman, on 5 August 1961.1

     Edward Reginald Gibbs was born on 9 October 1885.1 He was the son of Reverend William Cobham Gibbs and Annie Katharina Downall.1 He died in April 1918 at age 32, killed in action.1
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War. He gained the rank of Chaplain in the Guards Division.1

     Alfred Joseph Gibbs was born on 26 May 1887.1 He was the son of Reverend William Cobham Gibbs and Annie Katharina Downall.1 He died on 31 December 1969 at age 82, without issue.1
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1918, when he was wounded.1 He was Brigade Major of the 32nd Division, Royal Artillery between 1915 and 1918.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was Assistant Military Secretary of the Eastern Command between 1921 and 1923.1
