Major Harry Francis Pakenham1

     Major Harry Francis Pakenham was born on 6 November 1864.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Thomas Henry Pakenham and Elizabeth Staples Clarke.1 He married Gwendolen Beatrice Sanchia May Markham, daughter of Colonel William Thomas Markham and Ann Emily Sophia Grant, on 7 February 1905.1 He died on 11 February 1905 at age 40, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1900.1
