     He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 4th Hampshire Regiment.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1

Reverend Hugh Penton Currie1

     Reverend Hugh Penton Currie was born on 31 May 1854.1 He was the son of Sir Frederick Currie, 1st Bt. and Katherine Maria Thompson.2 He died on 20 March 1903 at age 48, unmarried.1
     He held the office of Prebendary of Wells.1
