     John Richard Brinsley Norton, 7th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield was born on 30 July 1923 at London, England.3,2 He was the son of Richard Henry Brinsley Norton, 6th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield and Jean Mary Kinloch.3 He married Lady Deirdre Elisabeth Mary Freda Hare, daughter of William Francis Hare, 5th Earl of Listowel and Judith de Marffy-Mantuana, on 18 January 1955.1 He died on 24 June 1995 at age 71 at Claro, Yorkshire, England.1,2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.3 He fought in the Second World War.3 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1944.3 He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.3 He succeeded as the 7th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield, co. York [G.B., 1782] on 17 July 1954.3 He was a director of Leslie and Godwin Ltd.3

Beryl Nancy Pearson.1 He married Marcia Persephone Hare, daughter of Major Hon. Alan Victor Hare and Jill Peggotty North, on 12 January 1965.1 He died on 8 January 2018 at age 79.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Second Lieutenant in the Life Guards.3 He graduated from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A.G, with a Bachelor of Arts, Economics (A.B.)1,3 He was a director of Lazard Partners between 1975 and 1997.3 He was chief executive of Pearson between 1978 and 1990.3 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Blakenham, of Little Balkenham, co.      Charles Thomas Milnes Gaskell was the son of Major Evelyn Milnes Gaskell and Lady Constance Harriet Stuart Knox. He married Lady Ethel Patricia Hare, daughter of Richard Granville Hare, 4th Earl of Listowel and Hon. Freda Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, on 12 November 1936.1 He died on 5 November 1943, killed in a flying accident.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.1

Sir Robert Edward James Clive Milnes-Coates, 3rd Bt. was born on 27 September 1907.2 He was the son of Captain Sir Edward Clive Milnes-Coates, 2nd Bt. and Lady Celia Hermione Crewe-Milnes.2 He married Lady Ethel Patricia Hare, daughter of Richard Granville Hare, 4th Earl of Listowel and Hon. Freda Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, on 4 September 1945.1 He died on 9 May 1982 at age 74.2
