Susanna Stephenia Dalbiac

     Susanna Stephenia Dalbiac was born on 28 August 1814 at Heningford, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir James Charles Dalbiac and Susanna Isabella Dalton.2 She married James Henry Robert Innes-Ker, 6th Duke of Roxburghe, son of James Innes-Ker, 5th Duke of Roxburghe and Harriet Charlewood, on 29 December 1836.3 She died on 6 May 1895 at age 80.3
     Her married name became Innes-Ker. She held the office of Lady of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Victoria.3 She was awarded the Lady, Royal Order of Victoria and Albert (V.A.)3

     Lt.-Gen. Sir James Charles Dalbiac was born in 1776.1 He was the son of Charles Dalbiac.1 He married Susanna Isabella Dalton, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Dalton and Susanna Prescott, in 1805.1 He died on 8 December 1847.1
     He gained the rank of Cornet on 4 July 1793 in the 4th Light Dragoons.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 24 February 1794.1 He gained the rank of Captain on 11 October 1798.1 He gained the rank of Major on 15 October 1801.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel on 25 April 1808.1 He fought in the Peninsular Wars.1 He gained the rank of Colonel on 4 June 1814.1 He was Brigadier-General of the Goojerat District between 1822 and 1824.1 He gained the rank of Major-General on 27 May 1825.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ripon between 1835 and 1837.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General on 28 January 1838.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Hanoverian Order (K.C.H.)1

     William Russell was born on 15 July 1800.1 He was the son of Lord William Russell and Lady Charlotte Anne Villiers.1 He married Emma Campbell, daughter of John Campbell, 4th of Islay and of Woodhall and Lady Charlotte Susan Maria Campbell, on 17 May 1828.1 He died on 5 September 1884 at age 84.1
     He was Accountant-General of the Court of Chancery.1

     Major Odo George Henry Russell was born on 10 February 1899.1 He was the son of George William Henry Russell and Mabel Mary Walker.1 He married Lisalie Maude Armstrong, daughter of Captain Marcus Beresford Armstrong and Rosalie Cornelia Maude, on 8 June 1927.1 He died on 19 January 1980 at age 80 at Shepway, Kent, England.2
     He gained the rank of Major in the Black Watch.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1940, where he was wounded, and held as a POW.1

     Elizabeth Allen was the daughter of John Allen.1 She married William Coventry, 5th Earl of Coventry, son of Walter Coventry and Anne Holcombe.1 She died on 23 November 1738 at Grosvenor Square, London, EnglandG, from dropsy.1
     Her married name became Coventry.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth Allen was styled as Countess of Coventry on 27 October 1719.

     Mary Elizabeth Todd was born circa 1842 at India.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Frederick William Todd.1 She married, firstly, Commander St. John Coventry, son of Frederick Coventry and Louisa Halford, on 27 September 1860.1 She married, secondly, George William Culme Soltau-Symons, son of George William Soltau and Frances Goddard Culme, on 12 January 1875 at Tarrant Keyneston, Dorset, England.1,2 She died on 8 July 1919.1
     From 27 September 1860, her married name became Coventry. From 12 January 1875, her married name became Soltau-Symons.1
