     Harry Maule Crookshank was born on 13 January 1849.1 He was the son of Captain Blackman Chichester Graham Crookshank and Helen Elizabeth Bilton.1 He married Emma Comfort, daughter of Major Samuel Comfort, on 5 August 1891.1 He died on 25 March 1914 at age 65.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at University College Hospital, Great Ormond Street, London, EnglandG.1 He was with the Egyptian Administration after 1883.1 He was awarded the Commander, Order of Osmanieh of Egypt.1 He was awarded the Grand Cordon, Order of the Mejidie.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (F.R.C.S.E.)1

     He and Janet Clark Laidlaw emigrated along with their children to Brisbane, Queensland, AustraliaG, arriving on 1909 on board the Osterley.1
