     Sir John Osborne, 7th Bt. was the son of Nicholas Osborne and Anne Parsons.2 He married Editha Proby, daughter of William Proby and Henrietta Cornwall.3 He died on 11 April 1743.1
     He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lismore between 1719 and 1727.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Osborne, of Ballintaylor and Ballylemon, co. Waterford [I., 1629] on 13 January 1718/19.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Waterford between 1727 and 1743.1

     Thomas Proby was born in 1723.2 He was the son of John Proby and Hon. Jane Leveson-Gower.1 He died in July 1758 at Ticonderoga, Essex County, New York, U.S.A.G, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Battle of Ticonderoga in 1758.1

Captain Charles Proby1

     Captain Charles Proby was born in 1725.2 He was the son of John Proby and Hon. Jane Leveson-Gower.1 He married Sarah Pownall, daughter of Philemon Pownall, in 1758.1 He died in 1799, leaving issue.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He was commissioner of the Chatham dockyard.1
