     Edward Henry Carson, Baron Carson was born on 9 February 1854 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He was the son of Edward Henry Carson and Isabella Lambert.1 He married, firstly, Sarah Annette Forster Kirwan, daughter of H. Persse Kirwan, in 1879.1 He married, secondly, Ruby Frewen, daughter of Lt.-Col. Stephen Frewen and Emily Augusta Peacocke, on 17 September 1914 at Charlton Musgrove, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He died on 22 October 1935 at age 81 at Cleve Court, Minster, Kent, EnglandG.1 He was buried on 26 October 1935 at Belfast Cathedral, Belfast, County Antrim, IrelandG.1
     He was educated at Portarlington School, Portarlington, County Laois, IrelandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to King's Inn, Dublin in 1877 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) [Ireland] in 1889.1 He held the office of Bencher of King's Inn, Dublin in 1891.1 He held the office of Solicitor-General [Ireland] between 1892 and 1893.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      He gained the rank of Major in the 85th Light Infantry.2

     Georgiana Eliza Dickson was born on 11 March 1825.2 She is the daughter of Major R. L. Dickson.1 She married Maj.-Gen. Arthur Stevens, son of Christopher Stevens and Mary Isabella Haverfield, on 24 July 1856.2 She died on 17 August 1871 at age 46.2
     From 24 July 1856, her married name became Stevens.2
