     Victor Albert George Child-Villiers, 7th Earl of Island of Jersey was born on 20 March 1845.1 He was the son of George Augustus Frederick Child-Villiers, 6th Earl of the Island of Jersey and Julia Peel.1 He married Hon. Margaret Elizabeth Leigh, daughter of William Henry Leigh, 2nd Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh and Lady Caroline Amelia Grosvenor, on 19 September 1872.1 He died on 31 May 1915 at age 70.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Villiers of Dartford, co. Kent [E., 1691] on 24 October 1859.1 He succeeded as the 7th Earl of the Island of Jersey [E., 1697] on 24 October 1859.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baron Villiers of Hoo, co. Kent [E., 1691] on 24 October 1859.1 He succeeded as the 10th Viscount Grandison of Limerick, co.      Hon. Margaret Elizabeth Leigh was born on 29 October 1849.2 She was the daughter of William Henry Leigh, 2nd Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh and Lady Caroline Amelia Grosvenor.2 She married Victor Albert George Child-Villiers, 7th Earl of Island of Jersey, son of George Augustus Frederick Child-Villiers, 6th Earl of the Island of Jersey and Julia Peel, on 19 September 1872.1 She died on 22 May 1945 at age 95.2
     From 19 September 1872, her married name became Child-Villiers. After her marriage, Hon. Margaret Elizabeth Leigh was styled as Countess of the Island of Jersey on 19 September 1872. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for London.2 She was a Governor at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, EnglandG.2 She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1927.2 She wrote the book Fifty-One Years of Victorian Life.3

     George Augustus Frederick Child-Villiers, 6th Earl of the Island of Jersey was born on 4 April 1808.1 He was the son of George Child-Villiers, 5th Earl of the Island of Jersey and Lady Sarah Sophia Fane.1 He married Julia Peel, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Peel, 2nd Bt. and Julia Floyd, on 12 July 1841.1 He died on 24 October 1859 at age 51.1

     Julia Peel was born on 30 April 1821 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.2 She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Peel, 2nd Bt. and Julia Floyd.3 She married, firstly, George Augustus Frederick Child-Villiers, 6th Earl of the Island of Jersey, son of George Child-Villiers, 5th Earl of the Island of Jersey and Lady Sarah Sophia Fane, on 12 July 1841.1 She married, secondly, Charles Brandling on 12 September 1865.1 She died on 14 August 1893 at age 72.1
     From 12 July 1841, her married name became Child-Villiers. After her marriage, Julia Peel was styled as Countess of the Island of Jersey on 3 October 1859. Her married name became Brandling.

     Lt.-Col. John Whitehill Parsons was born on 2 October 1785.3,4 He was the son of John Parsons and Anne Hough.4 He married Mary Elizabeth Dewar, daughter of Maj.-Gen. David Dewar and Mary Cutler, on 1 June 1820 at Gilston House, Fife, Scotland.5,2 He died on 21 April 1848 at age 62 at The Palace, Corfu, GreeceG.5,2 His will was proven (by probate) on 11 August 1848.2
     He was also known as Lt.-Col. John Whitehall Parsons.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 10th Hussars.5 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)3 He held the office of British Resident for Zante, in the Ionian Islands.3 He lived at Zante, Ionian Isles, Greece.5 His last will was dated 9 March 1848.2 He had three sons and one other daughter.5
