     William George Leonard Hall, 2nd Viscount Hall was born on 9 March 1913.1 He was the son of George Henry Hall, 1st Viscount Hall and Margaret Jones.3,4 He married, firstly, Joan Margaret Griffiths, daughter of William Griffiths, on 1 June 1935.5,4 He married, secondly, Constance Ann Hathorne Hardy, daughter of Rupert Gathorne Hardy, on 21 April 1963.5,4 He married, thirdly, Marie-Colette Bach in 1975.5 He died on 24 July 1985 at age 72, without surviving male issue.1
     William George Leonard Hall, 2nd Viscount Hall usually went by his middle name of Leonard.3 He was educated at Christ College, Breconshire, Wales.4 He was educated at University College Hospital, London, England.4 He was Assistant MOH between 1938 and 1940 at Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales.4 He gained the rank of Surgeon-Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.4 He was with Powell Duffryn Group between 1946 and 1962.4 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Hall, of Cynon Valley, co. Glamorgan [U.K., 1946] on 8 November 1965.4 He was chairman of the Post Office Board in 1969.4 On his death, his title became extinct.5

     Janet Gordon Dove was the daughter of William Dove.1 She married, firstly, Major Ashley Elliot Herbert Fetherstonhaugh, son of Captain Cecil Howard Digby Fetherstonhaugh and Meriel Gertrude Wilmot Williams, in November 1918.1 She married, secondly, William Robert Calvert, son of William Archibald Calvert and Hon. Beatrice Hayward Cubitt, on 22 November 1923.1 She died on 27 May 1958.1
     From November 1918, her married name became Fetherstonhaugh.1 From 22 November 1923, her married name became Calvert.1
