     Walter Godfrey Phillimore, 2nd Baron Phillimore was born on 29 December 1879.2 He was the son of Sir Walter George Francis Phillimore, 1st Baron Phillimore and Agnes Lushington.3 He married, firstly, Dorothy Barbara Haig, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Balfour Haig, 28th of Bemersyde and Hon. Frances Charlotte Harris, on 5 July 1905.2 He married, secondly, Marion Ives, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Cecil Robert St. John Ives and Hon. Susan Ann Talbot, on 16 November 1923.2 He died on 28 November 1947 at age 67.2
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1902 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1909 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He fought in the First World War, he was wounded and taken as a Prisoner of War (P.O.W.)2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Highland Light Infantry.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Oxfordshire.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Phillimore, of Shiplake, co.      Mary Hort was the daughter of Most Rev. Josiah Hort.2 She married Sir John Coghill, 1st Bt., son of Balthazar John Cramer and Hon. Judith Butler, on 17 October 1754.1 She died on 14 December 1815.1
     From 17 October 1754, her married name became Cramer. From before 1778, her married name became Coghill.1

Sir John Coghill, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir John Coghill, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 February 1766.1 He was the son of Sir John Coghill, 1st Bt. and Mary Hort.2 He died on 21 May 1817 at age 51, unmarried.1
     He was given the name of John Cramer at birth.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Coghill, of Coghill, co. York [G.B., 1778] on 8 March 1790.1 On 7 June 1807 his name was legally changed to John Coghill by Royal Licence.1

Vice-Admiral Sir Josiah Coghill, 3rd Bt.1

     Vice-Admiral Sir Josiah Coghill, 3rd Bt. was born in 1773.1 He was the son of Sir John Coghill, 1st Bt. and Mary Hort.2 He married, firstly, Sophia Dodson, daughter of John Dodson and Sarah Carey, on 31 August 1803.1 He married, secondly, Anna Maria Bushe, daughter of Rt. Hon. Charles Kendal Bushe and Anne Crampton, on 27 January 1819.1 He died on 20 June 1850.2
     He was given the name of Josiah Cramer at birth.1 He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in the Royal Navy.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Coghill, of Coghill, co. York [G.B., 1778] on 21 May 1817.1 On 7 June 1817 his name was legally changed to Josiah Coghill by Royal Licence.1 He had one other daughter by his first wife.1

Sir Charles William Doyle was born in 1770.2 He was the son of William Doyle and Cecilia Salvini.2 He married, firstly, Sophia Cramer Coghill, daughter of Sir John Coghill, 1st Bt. and Mary Hort, on 21 May 1802.3,4 He married, secondly, Sophia (?) on 21 April 1838.4 He died on 25 October 1842 at Paris, France.2
     He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.)4 He was appointed Knight in 1814.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1814.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Hanoverian Order (K.C.H.) in 1819.2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Hanoverian Order (G.C.H.) in 1839.3
