     Irene Angelina was born circa 1172. She was the daughter of Isaak II Angelos, Emperor of Constantinople.1 She married Philip von Hohenstaufen, Duke of Swabia, son of Friedrich I 'Barbarossa' Hohenstaufen, Holy Roman Emperor and Beatrice de Bourgogne, on 25 May 1197. She died on 27 August 1208.

     Heinrich VI Hohenstaufen, Holy Roman Emperor was born in November 1165 at Nijmegen, The Netherlands.1,2 He was the son of Friedrich I 'Barbarossa' Hohenstaufen, Holy Roman Emperor and Beatrice de Bourgogne.1 He married Costanza I di Sicilia, Regina di Sicilia, daughter of Ruggero II di Sicilia, Re di Sicilia and Béatrice de Vitry, on 27 January 1186.1,2 He died on 28 November 1197 at Messina, Italy.1,2
     He succeeded as the King Heinrich VI of the Romans in 1169.1 He was crowned Holy Roman Emperor in 1191.3 He succeeded as the Emperor Heinrich VI of the Holy Roman Empire in 1191.1 He gained the title of King Heinrich of Sicily in 1194.1
