     Pedro III, Rey de Aragón was born in 1239 at Valencia, Spain.1,2 He was the son of Jaime I, Rey de Aragón and Yolante Arpád.1 He married Konstanze von Hohenstaufen, Regina di Sicilia, daughter of Manfredo I von Hohenstaufen, King of Naples and Sicily and Beatrice di Savoia, on 15 July 1262 at Montpellier, France.1,2 He died on 11 November 1285 at Villafranca del Panades, Spain.1,2
     Pedro III, Rey de Aragón also went by the nick-name of Pedro 'the Great'.3 He succeeded as the Rey Pedro III de Aragón in 1276.1 He gained the title of King Pedro I of Sicily in 1282.1

     After her marriage, Konstanze von Hohenstaufen, Regina di Sicilia was styled as Reina Constance de Aragón in 1276. After her marriage, Konstanze von Hohenstaufen, Regina di Sicilia was styled as Queen Constance of Sicily in 1282.

Manfredo I von Hohenstaufen, King of Naples and Sicily1

     Manfredo I von Hohenstaufen, King of Naples and Sicily was born illegitimately in 1232 at Venoso, Italy.2 He was the son of Friedrich II von Hohenstaufen, Holy Roman Emperor and Bianca Lancia.2,3 He married Beatrice di Savoia, daughter of Amedeo IV Conte di Savoia and Anne de Bourgogne, in December 1247.3 He died on 26 February 1266 at Benevento, killed in action.2
     He succeeded as the King Manfred of Naples and Sicily in 1258.1 He fought in the Battle of Benevento on 26 February 1266.3

     Aimoe 'il Pacifico' Conte di Savoia was born on 15 December 1291.2 He was the son of Amadeo V Conte di Savoia Conte d'Aoste e Moriana and Sibylle Dame de Bâgé.3,2 He married Iolante Palaiologos-Monferrato, daughter of Theodorus Palaeologus, Prince of Byzantium and Argentina Spinola, on 1 May 1330.2 He died on 22 June 1343 at age 51.3,2
     Aimoe 'il Pacifico' Conte di Savoia also went by the nick-name of Aymon 'the Pacific'.3 He succeeded as the Conte di Savoia in 1329.3
