     Major Walter Francis David Long, 2nd Viscount Long was born on 14 September 1911.1 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Walter Long and Hon. Sibell Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone.1 He married Frances Laura Charteris, daughter of Captain Hon. Guy Lawrence Charteris and Frances Lucy Tennant, on 14 November 1933 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1,2 He and Frances Laura Charteris were divorced in 1942.1 He died on 23 September 1944 at age 33 at Uden, The NetherlandsG, killed in action.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Long, of Wraxall, co. Wilts [U.K., 1921] on 26 September 1924.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Coldstream Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Michael Temple Canfield was born on 20 August 1926 at Berne, Switzerland.2 He was the son of George Edward Alexander Edmund Windsor, 1st Duke of Kent and Violet Isobel Christine Evans.2,3 He married, firstly, Caroline Lee Bouvier, daughter of John Vernou Bouvier III and Janet Norton Lee, in April 1953 at Washington, D.C., U.S.A.G. He married, secondly, Frances Laura Charteris, daughter of Captain Hon. Guy Lawrence Charteris and Frances Lucy Tennant, on 13 June 1960.4 He died on 20 December 1969 at age 43.4
     He was given the name of Antoine Karslake at birth.2 In 1927 his name was legally changed to Michael Temple Canfield.2 He was adopted by an unknown person in 1927.2

Guy Lawrence Charteris and Frances Lucy Tennant.1,2 She married, firstly, Captain Roderic Miles Doughty Thesiger, son of Hon. Wilfred Gilbert Thesiger and Kathleen Mary Vigors, on 21 September 1940.2 She and Captain Roderic Miles Doughty Thesiger were divorced in 1946.2 She married, secondly, Nigel Francis Egerton Grey, son of Egerton Spencer Grey and Ethel Harriet Wigan, on 15 December 1949.2 She died on 21 December 1962 at age 43.2
     From 21 September 1940, her married name became Thesiger. From 15 December 1949, her married name became Grey.

Wilfred Gilbert Thesiger and Kathleen Mary Vigors.2 He married, firstly, Mary Rose Charteris, daughter of Captain Hon. Guy Lawrence Charteris and Frances Lucy Tennant, on 21 September 1940.1 He married, secondly, Ursula Joan Whitworth, daughter of Aymer William Whitworth and Alice Lucy Patience Hervey, on 10 January 1946.1 He and Mary Rose Charteris were divorced in 1946.1 He died on 5 March 2005 at age 89 at Hereford Hospital, Hereford, Herefordshire, EnglandG.3

     Egerton Spencer Grey was born on 4 April 1863.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Francis Douglas Grey and Sarah Mowatt. He married Ethel Harriet Wigan, daughter of Sir Frederick Wigan, 1st Bt. and Mary Harriett Blunt, on 23 April 1890.1 He died on 11 May 1950 at age 87.1

Herbert Asquith was born on 11 March 1881.1 He was the son of Herbert Henry Asquith, 1st Earl of Oxford and Asquith and Helen Kelsall Melland.1 He married Lady Cynthia Mary Evelyn Charteris, daughter of Hugo Richard Charteris, 11th Earl of Wemyss and Mary Constance Wyndham, on 28 July 1910.1 He died on 5 August 1947 at age 66.1
     Hon.
