     Georgiana Frederica Fitzroy was born on 3 October 1792.1 She was the daughter of Hon. Henry FitzRoy and Lady Anne Wellesley.1 She married Henry Somerset, 7th Duke of Beaufort, son of Henry Charles Somerset, 6th Duke of Beaufort and Lady Charlotte Sophia Leveson-Gower, on 25 July 1814 at Upper Brook Street, Mayfair, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 11 May 1821 at age 28 at Apsley House, Hyde Park Corner, Mayfair, London, EnglandG, from internal inflammation, without male issue.1
     Her married name became Somerset.
     Greville wrote that "she has been snatched from life at a time when she was becoming every day more fit to live, for her mind, her temper and her understanding were gradually and repidly improving; she had faults, but her mind was not vicious, and her defects may be ascribed to her education, and to the actual state of the society in which she lived."1

     Her married name became Somerset. After her marriage, Emily Frances Smith was styled as Duchess of Beaufort on 23 November 1835.
