     Charlotte Anna Hume was born in 1830.² She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. William Wentworth Fitzwilliam Dick and Margaret Bruce Chaloner.^1,3 She married Richard Penruddocke Long, son of Walter Long and Mary Anne Colquhoun, on 4 October 1853 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.^1,2 She died on 18 December 1899.¹
     From 4 October 1853, her married name became Long.¹

     Rt. Hon. William Wentworth Fitzwilliam Dick was born on 28 October 1805.² He was the son of William Hoare Hume and Charlotte Anna Dick.³ He married Margaret Bruce Chaloner, daughter of Robert Chaloner and Hon. Frances Laura Dundas, on 8 June 1829.⁴ He married Ellen Crookshank, daughter of Reverend George Crookshank, circa 1860. He died on 15 September 1892 at age 86.⁴
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Wicklow.⁴ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)⁴ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Wicklow.⁴ He was given the name of William Wentworth Fitzwilliam Hume at birth.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Wicklow in 1844.⁴ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wicklow between 1852 and 1880.¹ On 17 June 1864 his name was legally changed to William Wentworth Fitzwilliam Dick by Royal Licence.⁴ He lived at Humewood, County Wicklow, Ireland^G.¹

     Richard Godolphin Walmesley Chaloner, 1st Baron Gisborough was born on 12 October 1856 at Dolforgan, Montgomeryshire, Wales^G.^2,3 He was the son of Richard Penruddocke Long and Charlotte Anna Hume.¹ He married Margaret Brocklesby Davis, daughter of Reverend Weston Brocklesby Davis, on 18 November 1882.² He died on 23 January 1938 at age 81 at Guisborough, Yorkshire, England^G.^2,3 He was buried on 27 January 1938 at Guisborough, Yorkshire, England^G.³

     Robert Chaloner Critchley Long was born on 4 September 1858 at Kerry, Montgomeryshire, Wales^G.^1,2 He was the son of Richard Penruddocke Long and Charlotte Anna Hume.¹ He married Maud Felicia Frances Ann Johnson, daughter of Captain John Samuel Willes Johnson and Margaret Ann Pugh, on 6 February 1884 at St. Mary's Church, Welshpool, Montgomeryshire, Wales^G.^1,2 He died on 5 October 1938 at age 80 at Harare, Zimbabwe^G.^1,2
     He gained the rank of officer in the 7th Dragoon Guards.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Warwickshire Royal Horse Artillery.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Wiltshire.¹

     Maud Felicia Frances Ann Johnson was born in 1862 at Hannington Hall, Highworth, Wiltshire, England^G.² She was the daughter of Captain John Samuel Willes Johnson and Margaret Ann Pugh.¹ She married Robert Chaloner Critchley Long, son of Richard Penruddocke Long and Charlotte Anna Hume, on 6 February 1884 at St. Mary's Church, Welshpool, Montgomeryshire, Wales^G.^1,2 She died in 1919 at London, England^G.^3,2

     Captain John Samuel Willes Johnson was born on 3 July 1793 at South Stoke, Bath, Somerset, England.² He was the son of Reverend Charles Johnson and Mary Willes.³ He married, firstly, Elizabeth de Windt, Vicomte Campt de Rastignac on 14 May 1821.² He married, secondly, Joanna Burn Smeeton in 1849 at Swindon, Wiltshire, England.² He married, thirdly, Margaret Ann Pugh, daughter of D. Pugh, in September 1858.² He died on 25 July 1863 at age 70 at Hannington Hall, Highworth, Wiltshire, England.²
