Sir Thomas Pilkington, 7th Bt.1

     Sir Thomas Pilkington, 7th Bt. was born on 7 December 1773.2 He was the son of Sir Michael Pilkington, 6th Bt. and Isabella Rawstorne.3 He married Elizabeth Anne Tufnell, daughter of William Tufnell, on 1 August 1797.2 He died on 9 July 1811 at age 37, without male issue.2
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Pilkington, of Stanley, near Wakefield and Nether Bradley, also co. Yorks [N.S., 1635] on 6 February 1788.2 He was educated at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire from 1798 to 1799.2 He lived at Chevet in Royston, Yorkshire, England.2

Elizabeth Anne Tufnell1

     Elizabeth Anne Tufnell was the daughter of William Tufnell.1 She married, firstly, Sir Thomas Pilkington, 7th Bt., son of Sir Michael Pilkington, 6th Bt. and Isabella Rawstorne, on 1 August 1797.2 She married, secondly, William Mules after 1811.2 She died in November 1842.2
     From 1 August 1797, her married name became Pilkington.2 From after 1811, her married name became Mules.2
