     Hon. Edward Methuen Irby was born on 21 March 1788.¹ He was the son of Frederick Irby, 2nd Baron Boston and Christian Methuen.¹ He died on 27 July 1809 at age 21 at Talavera, Spain^G, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 3rd Regiment, Foot Guards.¹ He fought in the Battle of Talavera on 27 July 1809.¹

     Captain Hon. Charles Leonard Irby was born on 9 October 1789.¹ He was the son of Frederick Irby, 2nd Baron Boston and Christian Methuen.¹ He married Frances Mangles, daughter of John Mangles, on 8 February 1825.¹ He died on 3 December 1845 at age 56.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     Frances Mangles is the daughter of John Mangles.¹ She married Captain Hon. Charles Leonard Irby, son of Frederick Irby, 2nd Baron Boston and Christian Methuen, on 8 February 1825.¹
     From 8 February 1825, her married name became Irby.¹

     Major John James Charles Irby was born on 16 August 1830.¹ He was the son of Captain Hon. Charles Leonard Irby and Frances Mangles.¹ He married Henrietta Elizabeth Walpole, daughter of Reverend Thomas Walpole and Margaret Harriet Isabella Mitchell, on 15 April 1856.¹ He died on 20 May 1895 at age 64.¹
     He gained the rank of Major Adjacent in the Chelsea Hospital.¹

     Henrietta Elizabeth Walpole was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Walpole and Margaret Harriet Isabella Mitchell.^1,2 She married Major John James Charles Irby, son of Captain Hon. Charles Leonard Irby and Frances Mangles, on 15 April 1856.¹ She died on 17 January 1916.¹
     From 15 April 1856, her married name became Irby.¹

     Reverend Thomas Walpole was born on 30 September 1805.² He was the son of Thomas Walpole and Lady Margaret Perceval.² He married Margaret Harriet Isabella Mitchell, daughter of Colonel Hugh Henry Mitchell and Lady Harriett Isabella Somerset, on 15 January 1833.² He died on 8 February 1881 at age 75.²
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was Rector at Alverstoke, Hampshire, England.² He held the office of Hon. Canon of Winchester.² He had another son (died young) and two daughters (died unmarried.)²

     Charles Leonard Irby was born on 4 April 1857.¹ He was the son of Major John James Charles Irby and Henrietta Elizabeth Walpole.¹ He married Edivinia Brizzi Bistaghi, daughter of Teipie Brizzi Bistaghi, in 1898.¹
     He was in the Colonial Service.¹

     Edivinia Brizzi Bistaghi was born circa 1863.² She was the daughter of Teipie Brizzi Bistaghi.² She married, firstly, Charles Humphrey Philip Pedley, son of Thomas Humphrey Pedley, on 22 September 1881 at Cuddalore, Madras, India^G.^1,2 She married, secondly, Charles Leonard Irby, son of Major John James Charles Irby and Henrietta Elizabeth Walpole, in 1898.¹ She died on 21 July 1928.¹
     From 22 September 1881, her married name became Pedley.¹ From 1898, her married name became Irby.¹

     Charles Humphrey Philip Pedley was born in 1856.² He was the son of Thomas Humphrey Pedley.² He married Edivinia Brizzi Bistaghi, daughter of Teipie Brizzi Bistaghi, on 22 September 1881 at Cuddalore, Madras, India^G.^1,2 He died before 1898.¹
     He lived at Coonoor, Madras, India^G.¹
