Mythical characters

Hi Lizofon, thanks for matching some entries from the Mythoskop database. The MnM catalogue still has some issues, a few dozen entries are missing. I am working on it.

Allow me to offer a bit of (what I hope to be) constructive criticism. You created Arsinous (Q121842332) based on s:de:RE:Arsinoos 2 and added a statement "has child: Hecamede" with reference to the RE article. But in this article, Arsinoos is presented as "Vater des Eunomos" while Hecamede's father is a different Arsinoos. Please pay more attention to details when creating new items.

Erroneous batch from Mix'n'Match

Hi. As far as I can see you have started to do the importing of the NUKAT catalogue values from Mix'n'Match to wikidata. Many of these links are erroneous and outdated. You can literally see this if you open the first IDs from your Batch: https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Q6534&diff=1962378773&oldid=1958999219 - this is not correct. People just don't always use MnM and only fix errors on WD. It would be wrong to blindly return this data back to WD. In this case, the correct way is to unlink all 20k+ links on MnM via API and re-run auxiliary matcher and only then import the data to WD. Solidest (talk) 13:44, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Lizofon, it would be a show of good faith if you were to respond to messages on your talk page. Especially when you're doing what seems to be indiscriminate mass editing. Jonathan Groß (talk) 15:26, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The values in this batch that you added to Stephen Roberts (Q7610383), Andrew Hopper (Q60664225) and Elspeth Graham (Q87066619) are all conflated so I've deprecated them.--DrGavinR (talk) 15:32, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please, really put some more attention on YOUR additions. There are really stupid things added. Please stop immediately and check before adding.--Florentyna (talk) 17:45, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have posted on the Admin Noticeboard, asking for this User to be blocked and mass-reverted. Mass addition of errors is bad enough. Failing to respond and failing to correct are grounds for blocking. --EncycloPetey (talk) 17:55, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Lizofon I blocked you from the main namespace to prompt you to address the issue. Kindly respond here. —Yahya (talkcontribs.) 18:58, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ISBN

Please add ISBN values to the specific edition published with that value. Data items for works are for all editions ever published and do not have ISBN values. So edits like this one are incorrect. --EncycloPetey (talk) 17:42, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
