Origin[edit]

This track is a jazz-based remix of "Boarding the Halberd" and "Havoc Aboard the Halberd", two major themes played in Kirby Super Star's Revenge of Meta Knight sub-game. The latter theme also incorporates "Kirby's Triumphant Return" from the main game of Kirby Super Star, which is played as the Galactic Nova explodes after Marx is sent flying into it.

This remix is an orchestrated version of the music that played in Kirby Air Ride when a player fully assembled the Dragoon or Hydra. During the bridge, the orchestra also plays brief snippets of Green Greens and Gourmet Race.

This is a remix of the music that typically plays when Kirby battles King Dedede, starting from Kirby's Dream Land. It bears the closest resemblance to the version found in Kirby's Dream Land 3. The first loop heavily uses techno beats, while the second uses much lower tones, slowly building up with brass.

An electric guitar-based remix of the music that would play when fighting the boss Marx in the Kirby Super Star sub-game Milky Way Wishes. Near the end of the song, the "Kirby's Triumphant Return" theme plays before looping. This part of the song has also been remixed and lengthened, and its inclusion makes this version of Marx's battle theme original.

This remix is a collection of boss battle themes from across the Kirby series. It starts with the standard boss theme of Kirby's Adventure, before progressing to, in order, Kirby's Dream Land 2's boss theme, then the boss theme of Kirby Super Star, the mini-boss theme of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, a recurring theme from the Kirby series best known as "The Arena" from Kirby's Adventure, and ending on the standard boss theme from Kirby: Squeak Squad.

Origin[edit]

This song was originally used in the Japanese version of the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! anime, under the name Strong Star Warrior. However, it was reused as the theme of the Checker Knights course in Kirby Air Ride, essentially unchanged other than being modified to loop. The Brawl version of this track loops similarly to the Air Ride version, but with higher audio quality comparable to the original Strong Star Warrior.

Trivia[edit]

  • Checker Knights is owned by an organization rather than the owner of the IPs. This trait is shared with the music from Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, as well as "Ai No Uta", "Ai No Uta (French Version)". , "Tane No Uta" and later, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the Dragon Quest series, the Culdcept series, Soma Bringer, and Style Savvy: Styling Star,.
    • It, alongside the two aforementioned are the first songs in the Super Smash Bros series to not originate from a video game, succeeded by songs from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
      • Despite this, the track lists its origins as Kirby Air Ride.
