So nostalgic man, holy. Especially Selma's part when we beat her, I remember back then feeling so much for her after hearing her voice when she was all groaning & on the verge of death being so kind back to Dirk, at that point I felt like crying at this part & genuinely started loving her so much. Peak times, peak memories w/this game

A classic case study of the enemy being not smart enough to realize that they can win if they do literally nothing.

A basic, straightforward idea with solid execution. Now with a new mechanic, spruced up visuals, an achievement system and three ways to play!

The Boom Bar's a nice addition to the game, giving you a solid option to extend combos.

Its a shame its exclusive to Enhanced Mode - its uneven terrain, moving camera and inconsistent speed make for a frustrating experience.

The visuals did get a nice upgrade - Gunners and Seekers have been given distinct appearances (helping them stand out from Bombers and Bouncers) and Miners look like army trucks rather than shapes on wheels.

Adventure Mode is absolute schlock and goddamn do I love it. It does share the pains of Enhanced Mode, but I'm willing to overlook those here.
