Thank you for the response. Just making sure I'm not nuts.
Been a long while since I last uploaded a WIP loop.
I had a feeling it might be a Flash related issue. (or lack of)
Curious if that's why the visualizers died too...?
Is there any way to do this to make it loop seamlessly with the NG player?
.mp3 inherently renders out with two small gaps at the start and end of a track.
Maybe there's something I'm missing here?
I remember back in the day loops working on NG seamlessly. I have a lot from the old days and I remember they used to loop seamlessly. Not sure if FL Studio changed or NG changed or what.

RobTop says this should be fixed now! There was some sort of hiccup where GD hadn't logged the song URL on their end, so it's in there now and should be working.
Nice. Thanks so much for the help, Tom!

Gonna have Jim take a look to be sure our API isn't returning a bad value there, wondering if having Downloads turned off could be overriding the API access but I don't recall that coming up as an issue before.
I dun borked it all up, Jim. D:
Jim confirmed everything looks good on our end, so I reached out to RobTop about it, in case he can refresh the cached info there.

@ denme_ has been quite helpful today about all this.
I have tried reuploading the track file. No luck. I was thinking about just making a new upload, but NG doesn't quite approve of reuploading:
I was thinking of just re-upping the song, having two version, one with [GD] on the end and in the description explaining why. It's not really personal gain, but I could see it all getting misconstrued, etc.
The original song has a front page award too, which might complicate my solution.
Just curious if I can get any of it sorted with the original file.
Thanks for any future help. <3
Had it initially been published without API Access turned on? I wonder if GD has cached the initial setting and hasn't refreshed that cache yet. I did a re-publish on the existing project in case that makes any difference. Might have to get Jim to take a look at this, though.

I'm the person who originally requested LLAPPSSEE to update the track. I want to provide some clarifying information about how the song is displayed in GD (by the way, the song is still bugged at the time of writing this, though i dont know how much time it takes for GD to realize that the track has been updated). It's file size displays 0.00MB, and when you try to download it, the message saying "Download failed. Please try later." pops up. A similar visual bug of 0.00MB appears on the song Green With Me by EnV, but, unlike This Corpse Can Still Dance, it actually is downloadable.
Keep us updated! Tom did a republish -- let us know if it helped.

I had a similar thought myself. I want to say... I may not have ticked the API Access at first. I can't remember for sure. I know I have forgotten to tick it with other tracks, on publish. This problem has never happened before though. I'll check with DenEmGD to see if the song is working.

Hi in the movie rules it says music visualizers aren't permitted in the "other things to avoid" section

Ah, I see. I guess it's a sorta visualizer? But it's something I made? It's a particle simulation+audio reactivity / video editing. Not exactly something I just slapped a track onto willy nilly. I get it though. All goodo. Thanks for link!
it's fine I think
I was looking at touchdesigner last night bc of you and saw a couple intro vids it's cool

Yeah, it's a wild program. The case uses can be huge too. Was checking out a lot of interactive art installations that have used it. I don't know how far my brainlet will take me with it, but it's be fun to check out.

PM Tom. The rules were recently updated, especially regarding "sound visualizers".
It appears to have been re-published? So I guess all is well now.

I still messed it up, g'damn it.
Still really surprised a "digi"-classical piece took first (a lot of those plugins have painstakingly recorded real instruments)! You fought through a lot of electronics to get to the top. Or is it all electronic I guess? Not a single wubwub in your piece! Your track was very lovely. You, as far as I am concerned, masterly used the tools to create something quite realistic feeling. Keep on making pretty stuff. <3
With orchestral samples recorded twenty years ago, hehe. Thank you for the kind words.
They're that old? News to me. Good musical stuff doesn't go away. Look at all the old equipment that still is in use today. It's absolutely wonderful.
That said, The Winstons ~5 second "Amen Break" sample would like to have a funky little word with you. It was recorded ~50 years ago and inspired new genres of electronic music. :P
Music is fun. :D
Amen to that...ha. Yes, from what I know, the bulk of jungle would not exist were it not for those four bars of drums.
Yeeesss. If I think about it for too long it kinda still blows muh mind. We're all piggybacking off the past and having this generational dialogue -- throwing our own ideas into the ever-expanding music/art supernova. Yeehaw.
