Saw the movie at Los Angeles County Museum of Art tonight for the first time (7/22/2005.) Charles Laughton's acting is the highlight of the film, no doubt about it. There is one scene where the Scotland Yard inspector first confronts Laughton with his idea of how the murder might have been commited. The scene is only about 2 minutes long but is exquisite film making. This one scene alone makes the movie worth watching and seems to be impossible to forget.
